While Reagan is Away...

...Cooper will play. School was cancelled today, but gymnastics camp was open and Reagan decided she would rather go there than stay home with me and Cooper. So, after we dropped her off, Cooper and I had a fun morning together.

He put his hat on by himself
He was fascinated with the ear cover, but wouldn't let me readjust it for him
On the icy road

Admiring the neighbor's snowman
self portrait
It's too cold, let's go inside
Cooper had a snack (or two!)
He played hide and seek
He bathed the babies
He put the babies to night-night
Cooper fed the babies some lunch
He loved on the babies
"One more kiss!"
"Shhh, going night-night"
He was a great baby sitter today
Time to go for a ride
Helping baby sit up straight
To pass the time while Reagan was gone, Cooper played the guitar for us He had to tune it up 1st!
Finally, it was his turn to eat lunch
And, at last it was nap time. It took him forever to fall asleep. I kept hearing him say, "Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray!"

And, just to prove to daddy that Cooper wasn't all nice to the babies....
at least he tried to be "easy"!

Guitar Heros

Church was cancelled today due to the inclimate weather ~ never fear, Reagan and Cooper provided us with some of their original music!

Big Boy Class

Today was Cooper's 1st day in the Ladybug Class at school. He has been transitioning for a couple of hours each day this week, and his first full day is today. I'm excited / sad to see him growing up so quickly, but I know each day will bring new adventures and we are looking forward to that!

Ready to go to the "big boy class"
He was a little timid about going into his new class ~ I took my camera (surprise!) to capture the exciting moment of him walking into his new class, but the look on his face was one of confusion!

Special Gymnastics Day

Reagan's gymnastics class will be cancelled Saturday due to a meet the gym is having (and now probably snow!), so Reagan was allowed to switch days. Last night she went to another class and had a great time. I was so proud of her ~ not only did she have new teachers, but she didn't know anyone in her class. She did great! She listened to her teachers and even jumped into the little pit (we're still working on getting her to jump into the big pit). Some of the pictures are really blurry, but it's very difficult to take a picture through glass of a moving gymnast!

You must stretch before!

Good to the Last Drop

Cooper really enjoyed his dinner tonight ~ just take a look!

He wanted to make sure he got every last bit on his plate
None can go to waste! Delicious!
"more?"
Cooper has always been a very good eater, but I don't think he's ever licked his plate clean (other than ketchup). We'll have to fix this dinner more often ~ homemade fish sticks, broccoli, baked beans & mashed sweet potatoes.
