Here Comes the Sun

I got off work a little early today and planned to come home and clean up the house. But when I got home, I began to feel a little guilty that the weather was so nice (75 degrees) and Reagan and Cooper were still at school. So, less than 5 minutes into my cleaning...I went and picked them up from school so we could play outside together!

Sand & Water table (minus the water for now!)

Cooper's Turn

Cooper, just being Cooper!

swinging his sword
he also used the sword like the vacuum cleaner attachment back to wielding his sword
sweet baby, no ~ big boy pushing the dump truck he would run from one side of the room to the other, and when he would pass me he would stop and say "cheese" wanting his picture to be taken! what have I created? "cheese"
he's such a happy boy and has so much energy!

Luck of the Irish

Reagan has been wanting to make cupcakes for a couple of weeks now, and today was her lucky day!!

wearing her Valentine's day apron from mamaw & papaw
she let (um, made) me wear the hat though!dumping the cake mix in the bowl
then the oil & water
mixing it up really goodshe's getting so good at this, pretty soon she'll be able to make a cake all by herself! the best part is always licking the beaters she had to get every last bit of goodnessyum!
mixing the food coloring in the battera rainbow of colors ~ "red, orange, yellow, green, blue, don't forget there's purple too!" (thanks Mickey Mouse for the rainbow rhyme that is stuck in my head!) watching the cupcakes bake
Isn't she beautiful?the finished productRainbow cupcakes in honor of St. Patrick's Day Reagan wanted to make cupcakes for Mr Ray & Ms Deb (her teachers at Jesus' house). She is so excited and can't wait to take them tomorrow!
but first, she has to do a taste test! I think she likes them savoring every little bite

It's A Jungle Out There

This week's theme at gymnastics was "jungle week". All of the exercises/activities had to do with some type of animal. Reagan had a great time as usual, but this week was even more exciting as she had a friend from school join her at gymnastics!

Ready to begin
Quacking like a duckWalking like monkeysCooper and daddy came to watch Reagan today
Making bear sounds
butterfly stretches
for this exercise, the girls would pick an animal out of the basket, walk across the balance beam, and put the animal in another basketoh, and they also got to wear some cool animal glasses!Almost done!now for the tiger animal and glasses
