Back to School Swimming Party

Our Bible study small group had a back to school swimming party for the kids tonight ~ complete with pizza and cookie cake.  There were 9 kids swimming their hearts out and 6 adults enjoying catching up on the week's events.

Cooper was able to meet his new kindergarten teacher this morning.  Ms. S is looking forward to a great year with all of the new kindergarten students.

Vacation 2013 ~ Going Home

We began our journey home this morning.  We had a quick breakfast stop at Old McDonald's and an enjoyable lunch at Peach Park in Alabama.  The kids only asked "how much longer" when we were 30 minutes from home!!!  What did parents do before DVD players??

Vacation 2013 ~ Day 6

Today was our last day of vacation.  We made the most of the day by staying at the pool/beach ALL DAY LONG!  We didn't even go out for dinner if you can believe it ~ the boys went and picked it up for us!  We're going to be sad to go home tomorrow!

We had dinner from Montego Bay tonight and then Greg took the kids to Bruster's Ice Cream for dessert.

Vacation 2013 ~ Day 5

Today was a rainy day, so we spent a lazy day at the house for most of the day.  In the afternoon, we headed out to the local theatre to see the movie Turbo.

After the movie, we ate at Angelo's Steak House where we had surprise visitors: Mamaw, Papaw & Keira

 Cooper thought the steer was pretty neat!

After dinner, we made our way back to Home Made Ice Cream for dessert! yum, yum!
