Back to the Rink

No rest for the weary...not more than 2 hours after we got home from our visit in North Carolina, Reagan was back on the ice! Not too many pictures today, as I was out on the ice, skating with her!!

The real reason for our visit to Hickory...Jessica and I have had tickets to see Justin Timberlake in concert for over 9 months!!! That got the ball rolling and we decided to make it a family trip (less Cooper!) to see everyone again.

JT is amazing in concert! He can sing, dance and play the piano & guitar. Although we didn't have the best seats in the house (we were on THE.VERY.TOP.ROW.OF.THE.ARENA - ROW X), it was worth it to be there! Although cameras weren't allowed, I was able to take a few videos with my iphone and found a few photos from the local newspaper the next day.

Swimming with Friends

We travelled back to Hickory yesterday to spend time with our friends. Today, we had a pool party/picnic/get together with the whole gang: the Sandidges, Parkers, Thayers and Whitfords. It was so much fun to see everyone again...we picked up right where we left off!

Pick Up Game

Cooper was supposed to have soccer practice tonight, but none of the coaches showed. So, the boys organized themselves into a pick up game of soccer! They weren't going to let a little thing like no coaches stand in their way of playing!

I saw a tshirt like this a few years ago in Hilton Head - it sums up Cooper perfectly! I finally found a shirt in his size this year.

Vacation 2014 - Saturday - Day 8 - Headed Home

Vacation is coming to an end. We left Blue Mountain Beach early this morning. We stopped at Peach Park (for what is becoming an annual tradition) in Alabama for lunch and to let the kids (and us) stretch our legs.

Our last day of vacation. The kids wanted to spend the entire day in the pool. I've come to accept that I have "pool kids", they just don't care for the beach!
