Snowmen

Snowflake brought some friends back from the North Pole last night ~ there were a few snowmen hanging out when we woke up this morning!

 

 Cooper LOVES Snowflake and says he is part of our family, so he wanted to get his picture made with him before school

Coloring

Snowflake was up to his old tricks again this morning.  We found him on the art table where he had colored in one of the kids' coloring book.

He colors very neatly!

I went to visit my Papaw Carl today.  He was recently moved into a nursing home and I wanted to go check and see how he was doing!  Still smiling!!!

 I guilted my dad into getting his picture made with Papaw too!

Still

Snowflake didn't switch places last night.  Unfortunately, Cooper had accidentally touched him while trying to get him out of his magna-tiles.  So, Snowflake lost his power for a day and had to stay in the same spot.

Magnetic Personality

Snowflake wanted to play with one of Cooper's favorite toys today.  We found him in the magna-tiles this morning.

 After church, we helped Bubba celebrate his birthday by going out to eat at a Mexican restaurant.

Snowflake Surprise

Snowflake had a surprise for all of us this morning.  The kids found Snowflake in the back seat of the van with a note.

 We surprised the kids by taking them to see the show at the Dixie Stampede.

Before the show started, we walked around the place and saw the horses

 Reagan couldn't believe she was actually at the Dixie Stampede!

 We went in the Saloon for a some refreshment and pre-show music

I obeyed the rules and didn't take any pictures during the show, but the look on the kids' faces was priceless.  They were so entertained and happy to be there.  They sang, cheered, high-fived, laughed and had the time of their lives!

Hanging Around

We found Snowflake hanging out with the Santas on the tree this morning.  He was very camouflaged and Reagan & Cooper had a hard time spotting him today.

We found Snowflake in the treasure box this morning, but there was no treasure!

Looks like Snowflake has a part time job in the evenings!

 

Snow Angel

With the cooler weather we've been having, Snowflake must be dreaming of home!  He had made a snow angel on the table.

We found Snowflake fishing this morning!  Wonder how many goldfish he actually caught?

 

The Look Out

Reagan and Cooper spent the night with Gigi & Bubba last night and Snowflake was so sad.  When Greg and I got up this morning, we found Snowflake looking out the front door window for Reagan and Cooper!  He stayed there until they came home!

 

Sweet 16

Greg and I are celebrating 16 years of marriage today.  It hasn't been perfect, but there has been waaay more good than bad.  We've had fun and would do it all over again!

When the kids woke up this morning, they found Snowflake hanging upside down from the light fixture over the kitchen table.

Snowflake is up to his antics again!  The kids couldn't believe their eyes when they found Snowflake at the bottom of the steps!

Oh, Snowflake

Snowflake is a mischievous little elf.  This morning, Cooper found Snowflake had marked on one of our photos.  He had given Greg and me large eyelashes and moustaches.  Both Reagan and Cooper thought this was hilarious and have giggled about it all day!

We're starting a new tradition with the kids this Christmas.  The Elf on a Shelf was delivered on our doorstep this evening.  We read the story and the kids decided to name the elf Snowflake.  We can't wait to see what the elf does everyday!

 

5th Birthday Birthday Party

Cooper's whole family came to the bowling alley to help him celebrate his 5th birthday.  We bowled, danced, ate and laughed...we had so much fun!  It was a great way to celebrate our little man!

 For dinner, we ate at Texas Road House.  They let Cooper sit on the saddle while they told the restaurant that it was his 5th birthday.  The entire restaurant let out their best "yee-ha"!
