Thursday Things

Just a glimpse into our ordinary, 80 degree, March 1st day!

we started the morning with school
we're learning about the letter "T"
 such a good student
 painting "t"urtles
running off some energy in the "T"oy room
After a bike ride around the neighborhood, Cooper needed to "t"ake care of the lawn
 checking the fuel
he wanted to build castles in the sand
Once Reagan got home from school, it was time for more bike riding
they waited patiently at the stop sign for me to catch up!
 on the move again
she was telling jokes and cracking herself up (remind you of anyone?)
next, it was time to bring out the big "t"rucks
Reagan hadn't rode her scooter in a few months, but she didn't miss a beat
Cooper wanted to take a break and sit in my lap
Here he is coaching Reagan from the sidelines!
 sweet soccer girl
 Cooper wanted to play goalie
 ready to score
 he saved the goal!

Masterpieces

Since we've done a mini makeover to our house (new paint, new slipcovers, bedding and accessories), I've been trying to find just the right paintings to hang on the wall.  I couldn't find anything that I just "loved".  So, I decided to have the kids make us one-of-a-kind paintings.

I couldn't be more pleased with my one-of-a-kind originals!!

It's Been A While

But we're back. The camera is back from the shop and I'm back to my picture taking ways - much to the chagrin of Greg, Reagan and Cooper. I think they've enjoyed the last 2 weeks without a single photo being taken!

Here are a few photos from the weekend when Ms Deb and her grandson, Seth, came over to play with Reagan and Cooper while Greg and I went out.

Reagan loves to paint with Ms. Deb

Cooper thought he'd try his hand (or mouth) at painting too!

She may have a future as an artist
Is this what big kids get to do?

How Blessed Am I?

Greg is out of town this weekend for his Emmaus Walk, but Reagan, Cooper and I haven been very well taken care of by all of our friends from church. Thursday, Ms Kim came over with dinner and played with Reagan and Cooper so I could be on a teleconference for work and give the kids a bath. She even stayed and kept me company after they had gone to bed!

Friday, Ms Shawn helped me take both of them to the Fall Festival at their school. I couldn't have done it without her! She helped play games, eat dinner and mostly kept Cooper occupied while I was the photographer for Reagan.

Then on Saturday, Ms Deb came over to play with Reagan and Cooper so I could take a shower, run errands and just get some things done around the house. Reagan enjoyed her time with Ms Deb very, very much!

Ms Deb brought paints, paintbrushes, and paper for the budding artist

Ms Deb drew pictures and Reagan painted them
Cooper got his playtime in too!
Using stamps and ink pads
Reagan really enjoyed using the stamps
They also went on a stroller walk

Cute Reagan stories: When Ms Kim was getting ready to leave, Reagan told her, "you can go now, but don't take the pizza"
When I told Reagan Ms Deb was coming over to play, she said, "Ms Deb, Ms Deb ~ I really like her"
