Picture Day at School

Today was picture day at school for Reagan and Cooper. Reagan was gracious enough to let me take her picture at home before getting the "real ones" done at school.

She even got a new dress for the occasion
After the "official" school picture was taken. They had their pictures taken separately and together. They did a great job, I can't wait until we get to see the proofs next week.
Reagan kept wanting to get her picture made, so here she is with her classmates Parvenae and Hayden
Such a great smile!

Secret Garden

Reagan came downstairs this afternoon with her gardening gloves, hat and tool bag in hand. She said she needed to go work in the secret garden and would I come with her. So off we went. I had no idea what she was planning, but she seemed to know exactly what she was doing.

Watering the garden Notice how the tool bag is being carried like a purse
Now, she decided we needed to look for grasshoppers
Reagan even made up a song about her secret garden ~ listen closely

Too Soon

Since Cooper is trying to pull up on everything, we lowered his crib to the lowest setting...just in case. He seems pretty happy with his new setting, don't you think?

Sunday Session

A glimpse of our day on Sunday.

We bought Reagan a Hillsong Kids Worship DVD and she loves to sing along. They use microphones, so Reagan had to get hers out too!
Cooper is mobile and is everywhere, he doesn't let a little thing like a jumparoo stop him from getting where he needs to be!
He got his toy!!
Not sure if this is good or bad, but Cooper now smiles on command for the camera!
Reagan donning her princess attire again today

Cooper's really moving now ~ even trying to pull up on everything. Watch how happy he is when he gets to a standing position

Crawling

Maybe he'll be a military man ~ he's got the army crawl down to a science!

By the next day, he was a crawling superstar (very hard to catch on video though). However, he still likes to do a few yoga poses here and there!

Yes, Lord

I originally starting the camera rolling to capture Cooper crawling, but then Reagan began to sing one of her favorite songs about Jesus...and it was just too cute. Sorry the quality is not the best, but the singing is from the heart of a little girl whose favorite is Jesus!
(you may need to turn up the volume)

Proof

We always knew Reagan was a princess, but now we have proof!

Story time with daddy

If she's a princess, does that make me a queen?

Special Guest

Reagan had a special guest visit her last night ~ Ms. Deb came over for about an hour to play. She also brought us some yummy watermelon, cucumbers and tomatoes from her garden. Reagan loves Ms Deb and has really missed seeing her on Monday nights.

Reagan carrying her watermelon to a safe spot.

Ms. Deb drew a swimming pool with sidewalk chalk and they both took off their shoes and jumped right in!

Ms. Deb is also Reagan's Kids' Express teacher at church. I had asked Reagan what she learned about at Jesus' house and she said God turns flips. Every time I asked her, the answer was the same ~ God turns flips. When Ms. Deb came over, I asked her what the lesson was about. She said God forgives. Very close, don't you think?
Notice: this is day 15 of dresses and nothing but dresses!!!

Yoga Baby

Cooper hasn't gotten the hang of crawling, but he has mastered the yoga pose Downward Facing Dog. He's getting closer and closer to crawling...it won't be long before I have to that are mobile. Watch Out!!

Precious

These pictures were taken by Ms. Kristy, the director at Reagan & Cooper's school. They're put up on the wall and then in the month of your birthday, you get to put your picture in the basket. I thought they were so good of Reagan that I had Ms. Kristy e-mail them to me so I could share. Doesn't she look so old?

The Life!!

Don't you want to be 3 and/or 7 months again?? These two have it sooo good and they don't even know it!

The umbrella broke on our ride yesterday, so instead of getting another umbrella that they (Reagan) could fight over whose side it was on, I made the executive decision to get a canopy that covers both of them...no fighting required!!
So much fun. Is there room for me?
For some reason, Reagan has decided this is the way she needs to sit in the wagon, even with her dress on. She's been sitting like this for the past few rides.
Cooper thought he'd relax too and prop his leg up (although he can't quite get them to hang over the side like Reagan can!)
Not to be outdone, Reagan shows us another comfortable riding position. Actually, she's trying to keep Cooper from touching her feet and slobbering on "her side" of the wagon

Cooper's Turn

Cooper had his Sunday pictures taken all by himself this morning as Reagan decided to be her independent (ie stubborn) self and not get her picture made.
