Cooper's Easter Box from Mamaw & Papaw

Cooper had a special package on our doorstep this week from Mamaw & Papaw. It was full of Easter goodies.

What is this stuff?
I don't know, but I bet I could make a big mess with it!An Easter book
Donald Duck Pez dispenser
Easter soap
He put everything except Donald back in his box!

Reagan's Easter Box from Mamaw & Papaw

Reagan received a special delivery this week from Mamaw and Papaw ~ a box full of Easter gifts.

Opening the box ~ can't wait to see what's inside!
Jelly Beans ~ she discovered a love for jelly beans at school this week! Trying to open the jelly beans so she can eat them now!
She would have been satisfied if jelly beans were the only thing in her box
Hello Kitty sleeping socks
Easter cookie cutters ~ looks like we'll be baking again this weekend!
Easter soap
Easter sticky pads
Kleenex ~ something else for her purse
A purple bracelet
Ponytail holders
More sleeping socks
An egg stamp!
Thank You Mamaw & Papaw!

Picking Up Cooper

Since I had my camera at school, I thought I would get a few pictures of Cooper playing with his friends. When he saw me and Reagan, he was ready to go home!

Driving his car
So cute!
Once we got home, Cooper took a little time to read the Good Book

I Missed It!

I missed Reagan's Easter party at school today. I had a doctor's appointment to get some moles removed, and of course the doctor was running late. Normally, in my line of work, that would not bother me...but today I had somewhere I needed to be (and a little girl who I promised I would be there). I got to the school just as the party was ending.

Reagan's sad face ~ she told me not to worry about it, she would have another party at school

15 month Check Up

A little late with the 15 month check up...but at least we got it done! Cooper weighs in at 26.8 lbs ~ up 1/2 pound since last week!! Cooper was such a brave boy getting his shots. He didn't cry with the 1st stick, and only a whimper after the 2nd shot!

All smiles before the shots! Reagan likes playing in the waiting room too!
Feeding Dr. G's dinosaur Going for a ride on the dinosaur ~ after the shots, Cooper wasn't interested in playing with the dinosaur

School Pictures

Here are pictures of the school pictures Reagan and Cooper had made a couple of weeks ago. They were all so good, we're going to have a difficult time choosing which ones to buy!

Mommy's little man Great smiles for both of them
Reagan was laughing so hard!

Orders are due by April 16th ~ if you have a favorite, let me know!

Play Time

Sunday afternoon, we all got outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather of the weekend (because next week, they're calling for temps about 25 degrees cooler).

taking a stroll in the grass
Having a snack outside Daddy and his shadow
Daddy and his little helper
He can rake with one hand and use a shovel with the other!!
Watching the neighbor's dog
Reagan had enough of the outdoors and wanted to come help me cook spaghetti
After dinner we went on a wagon walk around the neighborhood. (not the most flattering picture of me, but I wanted to prove that the kids do have a mom!)

Strawberry Banana Shortcake

This entire weekend, Reagan has been asking to make a strawberry banana shortcake. Not sure where she came up with the idea, but that's all she has wanted to make all weekend. Yesterday while we were grocery shopping we bought a pound cake mix, strawberries, bananas and Cool Whip. Today was her lucky day ~ let the baking begin.

As always, hand washing is a must
Showing me that the recipe calls for 2 eggs Pouring in the milk
Mixing the batter
Getting ready for her favorite part...quality control
mmm, mmm good
The finished product ~ pretty good if we do say so ourselves!
I was lamenting the fact that Reagan is growing up way to quickly and here is the conversation that followed:
Reagan: Let's measure how tall I am (she likes to stand beside me to see how tall she is compared to me)
Mom: You're getting way too tall
Reagan: Are you happy?
Mom: No, I'm sad that you're growing up
Reagan: Don't be sad, be happy. Let me grow, don't worry about me
