Children at Play

Just a normal night at the Sandidge house.

Cooper having fun in the tub
He likes his table set just so. We don't dare move anything off or put anything on his table.
Reading time for Reagan
Playing Barbies
Dancing to the music
Reagan and Cooper dancing and singing
Yeah!!
Hmm. What should I play next?
Mirror, Mirror on the wall...
Barbie needed to look in the mirror too!

It Never Fails

I can never get a picture of the both of them smiling and looking at me at the same time.

This is close, but Reagan is sitting too far behind Cooper
One smile, one frownTwo screams (they were actually happy screams, but it doesn't make for a pretty picture!)
So, let's go solo. First, Reagan
then Cooper ~ who by the way is happiest when he's eating!

Reagan's Got Mail

Reagan received a very exciting piece of mail today. She had become part of the "stamp club" chain letter several months ago. In this, you send a packet of stickers to the person in the 1st position, move the person in position #2 to the 1st position and put yourself as the new #2; send the letter to 6 of your friends and then eagerly await your stickers. Today, she received her first pack of stickers!
Her stickers came from a little girl named Gracie
Making sure that's her name is on the envelopeOpening with care...
Pulling out the stickers
A pack of The Little Mermaid stickers
She was so happy that...
...she did a ballerina dance with her new stickers

Guitar Heros

After school today, the kids decided they wanted to play a little music.

Reagan sang several rounds of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

Cooper couldn't figure out if it was a bass...
Or a drum!

Sunday Fun

We started the day by going to Jesus' House and then lunch, followed by ice cream and naps. The afternoon was full of art projects and bike riding!

My sweet little man
My sweet big girl We bleached the sand dollars we found on vacation and let Reagan paint them. I'm going to put them in a shadow box in her room with some of the shells and the star fish we found
She takes her art very serious
The finished sand dollars
While we had the supplies out, Reagan wanted to do a little stamping
Next, she put together a poster for her class at school that had some of her favorite things on it ~ pictures, stickers and she did some original artwork with crayons
Everything had to be placed just right
On to bike riding
Whee!
She loves the princess bell on her bike
Cooper had to mow the road again today!
He takes road maintenance very serious
She's really getting the hang of riding her bicycle
Here is a picture of the princess bicycle
The bicycle has a pouch on the front of it for necessities ~ Reagan put bracelets, necklaces and hair bows in the pouch ~ what else would a princess put in there?

After church, we always ask Reagan what she learned. Today the lesson was on Solomon building God's house. I asked who helped build God's house and Reagan replied, "Maybe it was Handy Manny!" Thankfully she saved herself by saying, "No, I'm just teasing you!"

It's Official

Reagan is officially a big girl now. She bought her very own princess bicycle today with the birthday money she had been saving (ok, so she didn't know she was saving it, but she sure was glad she did!). She had been asking for a bicycle for several weeks now and when we pulled up to the store, she almost flew out of her princess seat knowing what was inside!

Every bike rider must wear a helmet ~ princess helmet of course (enough pictures, let's ride!)
And she's off! Isn't she cute?
Notice she's wearing shorts ~ Greg convinced her that she would go faster if she didn't wear a dress!
I love my family!
Cooper doing his job ~ mowing the road for all the neighbors
Dad keeping a watchful eye on his princess
Cooper had to check the oil
He should have done his repairs before he left the house!
A little boy's work is never done
He is fascinated with all things cleaning (brooms, vacuums, paper towels, dust cloths, etc)
