Random Pictures

Beautiful girl, beautiful smile
Cooper still has a passion for all things cleaning

New Toys

We've began rotating toys in and out for the summer and they love playing with all things "new".

Reagan got this hop ball from mamaw & papaw for her birthday, but played with it for the 1st time a few nights ago.
Cooper is in his caring phase ~ he loves to rock, feed, and push the baby dolls in a stroller

So Sweet

Last night before bed, Reagan said she wanted to rock Cooper. She sang 3 songs to him ~ Rockabye Baby, Twinkle Twinkle and Jingle Bells. Not really sure how Jingle Bells fits, but it was so sweet. She is such a good big sister!

Sweet Treat

Ms Deb came over last night and brought a sweet surprise for Reagan and Cooper ~ ice cream sandwiches!! They loved her before, but I think she went up a couple of steps in their book with ice cream!
Cooper dug right in
He didn't let any of his ice cream sandwich go to waste! Enjoying her time with Ms Deb (who didn't want to have her picture taken)
Mmm, mmm
Tasty!

Do You See What I See?

Say Cheese

Reagan wanted to show off her crocs that matched her orange dress today. After she got dressed she said, "let's go take a picture of my beautiful dress and shoes that matching!"
Then, she asked to take a picture with me!Cooper's turn to make a silly face
He's saying, "out"
I wish you could hear the giggles that was accompanying this picture

How To Eat A Fudgecicle

After dinner, I thought Cooper and Reagan deserved a treat ~ him for being so brave at the doctor's office and her for comforting him while he received his shots. Tonight they chose fudgecicles. And the mess follows...

Step 1 ~ Strip down to your diaper
Step 2 ~ bite it in the middle so it breaks in two from the very startStep 3 ~ try putting the whole thing in your mouth
Step 4 ~ when all else fails, use your hands
Step 5 ~ Don't let anyone clean you up
Step 6 ~ show everyone what you've eaten
Or you can eat like Reagan...
Make sure to pull your hair out of the way
And don't waste a drip! (She's so proud to now be considered the neat eater!)
A bath was promptly had by all!

The Check Up

Today was Cooper's 18 month check up (yes, I know he's over 19 months old now, but...). Here are the stats ~ he weighs in at a whopping 27.8 pounds ~ which is in the 80th percentile(personally, I think he weighs more than that, but I liked the number when I stepped on the scale, so I'm not going to argue!) and after being measured twice because Dr Brooks couldn't believe how tall he was, he is 35 inches tall which is in the 95th percentile (he's grown almost 2 inches in 6 months ~ unheard of apparently). He only had to get one immunization, but Reagan held his hand and he only whimpered for just a second. All in all, he's a healthy boy and was the hit of the office this afternoon.

Cooper's #1
Such a happy boy, even after getting a shot
While we were there, I asked if they would weigh and measure Reagan just for the fun of it. She weighs 35 pounds and is 3'4" tall (only 5 inches taller and 7 pounds heavier than Cooper...and 3 years older!)

Monday Morning

Back to school after a long break ~ I think they're ready to get back to a normal routine!

She's into making silly faces for the camera
This is the best picture I could get of her this morningCooper, all smiles as usual

5th of July Cook In

We continued the holiday celebrations today by going to church, napping, having a cook in and riding bicycles.

Cooper runs to the door when you ask him if he wants to get his picture made
Cooper and daddy ready for church Notice the patriotic red, white & blue themed clothing? Too bad we didn't have a family photo, we all coordinated so well.
Reagan wanted her picture made with just daddy
Then she agreed to have her picture made with Cooper
Reagan and mommy ~ Cooper wouldn't join us for the picture, he wanted to be with daddy
And here's our cook in (it was just too humid to eat outside) ~ we were honored to have the ballerina and the stripper join us!

Happy 4th of July

Just a normal Saturday here at the Sandidge house. We started with a family breakfast at the IHOP and then on to some shopping. Reagan has been asking for a ballerina skirt and shirt for a couple of weeks now and we found one she loved at Target. She had to put it on as soon as she got home, she even napped in it and wore it until it was time to take a bath.

Doing her computer work in her ballerina costume
Playing the harmonica in her ballerina costumeCooper dancing to his own music
Finally, some ballet moves
Using the refrigerator as a ballet bar
Cooper taking my picture
His turn on the computer
Not a very exciting day, although we did discover that Reagan and Cooper are mesmerized by The Lawrence Welk Show. They watched it for almost 30minutes in complete silence, only clapping for each performance!!! Who knew?
Cute Reagan story: While cleaning up the kitchen table from supper, someone passed gas. We asked Reagan if it was her and her reply, "It wasn't me. My gas won't come out, it is very tired."

Cooper James

Just had to post some cute pictures of Cooper ~ nothing gets a better smile out of him than eating!
