SURPRISE!!

Tonight, I threw Greg a surprise party for his 43rd birthday. Yes, his birthday was yesterday ~ thus the surprise. Normally, we have small group Bible study on Thursday nights, so Greg didn't think anything about coming to Duane & Jessica's house (thanks for letting me do this by the way!) and there being lots of cars parked there. When Greg walked in the house, all of our small group sang "Happy Birthday" ~ he still thought they were just remembering that his birthday was the day before. But when he rounded the corner, there were about 8 other friends that aren't part of the Bible study. That's when he was truly surprised!!

We had chili, corn chowder & santa fe soup and birthday cake of course. The kids munched on chicken nuggets downstairs and had their own little party!

An Early Birthday Gift

Today, I took a day off work and Reagan & Cooper took a day off from school to go have lunch with Greg for his birthday. His birthday is actually tomorrow, but the weather is supposed to be nasty, and I didn't really want to drive and hour and a half each way in the rain!

We ate lunch at a little cafe near Greg's office and they had a playhouse for the kids to play in while we waited for the food
