First Soccer Game

The Blue Marlins had their first game of the season today. Reagan couldn't wait to play and Cooper was super excited to watch her.

Waiting for her time to warm up
Cooper found a big stick to play with

He used the stick as a pencil, fishing pole, gun, poker, walking cane, bat, etc, etc, etc
Reagan was super excited to get her team shirt
#5 on the field, #1 in our hearts
"Fishing" with dad!
Getting in some good practice time
Cooper wanted to give Reagan a kiss before her game started ~ how sweet is that?
Taking the field
Go Blue Marlins!

Go Reagan
Kick the ball!

Reagan had to turn a few cartwheels while on the field

Getting instructions from the coach
Such a sweet brother!

He's a true soccer brother ~ chair, water and stick!!

Although they don't officially keep score, the Blue Marlins would have won 3-2!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Look what the leprachaun left...

Green hats with goodies in them
a gift in the morning is always a good thing!
Reagan definitely has bed head!
She was searching for gold
Reagan said "that leprachaun is a sneaky little fella!"

We even had green milk to celebrate
Both kids had parties at school today and are still searching for the leprachaun in the house!

Hard to believe that my niece turns 21 today!

Happy Birthday Megan!
Hope you have a great day!

Flyin' High

The weather was perfect for kite flying today. We flew kites for quite a while today. The kids (and I) had so much fun.

New School

Today was Cooper's 1st day at his new school. He was a little timid walking in, but warmed right up!

Can't you just hear him saying "Mom, please. Your embarrassing me at my new school"
I finally got a smile out of him!
Standing in front of the door ready to go inside
He found some alligators to play with
I think he's going to be just fine.
I stayed with him through breakfast to ease the transition and then left him with Ms L. I snuck back in the door way to take this picture ~ he didn't even notice I had left!
This is a picture after I picked Cooper up this afternoon
He had a fun day!
When I asked Cooper if he went to chapel to learn about Jesus today, his reply was "no".
When I asked if he got to play outside today, the answer was "no".
When asked if he made any new friends today, the answer was "no".
When I asked what he had for lunch today, his answer was "we didn't have lunch today".
Hope this isn't a sign of conversations to come with him!!
