Keira's Pinkalicious Party

Today, Keira celebrated her 6th birthday with a pinkalicious party. All the kids were asked to wear pink!! The party was held at a place with giant inflatables. The kids had a great time running, jumping and sliding!
they were sliding too fast for my camera!

caught a glimpse of her at the bottom there goes Keira

...and then my camera died. Not sure what happened, but it is at the repair shop as I type. It should be returned to me within 2 weeks (or mommy will be getting a new one! I'm not sure which I'm hoping for!!!)

Surprise!!

I picked Reagan up early from school today to surprise her with a trip to Tennessee for her cousin Keira's birthday party. Reagan had no idea...she kept saying, "for real? for real?" It was so cute! She was a great traveller on the way~watching movies, singing, and chatting with me. Keira didn't know we were coming either, so we were able to surprise her when we got to mamaw and papaw's house!
Look who's here!

Best cousins! Reagan had to show mamaw and Keira her "Star Student" book that her classmates made for her. Each student drew a picture and wrote a comment about Reagan.
Playing restaurant ~ mamaw, papaw and I were invited to a free feast!

They giggled and talked until 11pm or later. They had so much fun on a sleep over!

The Agony of Defeat...

Reagan's soccer team would have suffered their first loss tonight, but fortunately, we don't keep score!!

Warming up
Reagan got to play goalie for the 1st quarter of the game - here she is getting the jersey on!
She was ready for the challenge
look how little she is inside the big goal
Oooh, the other team scored on her (only once though). She did a great job as goalie

We brought Cooper's kite to the soccer game
He had so much fun flying it ~ and it was a bit of a distraction for the kids on the field for a few minutes

look how high the kite it!
Reagan also got to throw the ball in for the 1st time today

you can barely see the kite at the top of the picture
going for the goal

Although they didn't win, she had a lot of fun! We'll get 'em next week!
