Swim Lessons

Reagan and Cooper started swimming lessons tonight.  Hopefully, they will be swimming by the time vacation comes around!!  I was so proud of both of them ~ they listened to their instructors and behaved very well.

Reagan's first swim in the pool
Cooper won't be outdone!
He smiled the ENTIRE time! No telling how much water he ingested because he smiles so big
Putting her face in the water
waiting for his turn
So sweet!
Practicing the backstroke
    thumbs up
    Ready to jump?

Reagan is!!  (Cooper jumped too, I just didn't get a decent picture)
She even jumped off the platform.
The kids said they had a great time..."this was the best day ever" (I seem to be hearing that a lot lately!).  The classes are from 7-7:30 in the evening which is their bed time, but I'm trying to be a little more flexible and letting them go (I just hope we  I don't pay for it the morning after the lesson!).  I'm hoping that these lessons will be more beneficial in the long run than the 3 hours of sleep they'll be missing each week!

Another Day at the Lake

We spent another beautiful, hot, sunny day at the lake.  Reagan made us another plan for the day, but this time it included a picnic lunch on the boat.  And we had several visitors ~ Aunt Ginger, Mamaw, Papaw & Keira.  Reagan said this was "the best day ever!"

Our boat ride included a trip around the eagle's nest
Reagan had to borrow Cooper's hat for the day
picnic time!
Daddy going for a swim
Daddy and his babies
My sweet, sweet girl
My sweet, sweet boy
Keira joined us for a swim in the cold water!
Cooper had gone at full speed all day and crashed on the boat
Ginger brought us an inner tube to ride
Cooper woke from his nap, but decided he would rather stay with mamaw and papaw than ride the waves!
Hold On!
click on this picture to see the look on Reagan and Keira's faces
Acting silly
it took him a looong time to wake up
Sweet cousins
After the boat ride, the kids headed to the pool
Cooper is awake and tormenting the girls!
It's impossible to get a good smiling shot of 3 kids
Cooper loved to splash the girls
Gigi made us a wonderful dinner
we also enjoyed....homemade ice cream!
They tried fishing again tonight, but the fish just weren't biting
Cooper was a little disappointed he didn't get to ride on the tube ~ maybe he'll be awake next time!
Love this boy and his smiles!
Getting to spend time with family was the best way to spend the long holiday weekend!
