Big Girl Party

One of Reagan's friends had a Halloween party tonight.  It was the first party that she has attended without mom or dad staying "to keep an eye on her".  The party lasted for about 2 hours and they played goulish games and ate spooky snacks!

Cooper stayed home with mom and dad.  After Reagan had been gone for a little while, Cooper looked around and asked "What am I doing here all by myself?  This is not right!"

Chopped

After 2 years of growing out my hair (and finally getting a ponytail at the beach!), it was time for a change.  So, I went to a new salon today and had them chop off my hair.  In all, she cut about 8 inches off!  It feels so much lighter and looks so much healthier and has some "umph" to it now.  Tomorrow may be a different story when I have to fix it for myself!

Cooper saw me first and said he liked my hair longer.  Reagan was next and said she liked my hair anyway I wanted to wear it.  And finally Greg said that he likes it shorter ~ very much so!

what do yo think?

Elephant Ears

Cooper's class is learning the letter E this week.  To illustrate the letter E, they are learning all about elephants.  Today, they made elephant ears to wear.

how cute is he?

Picture Perfect

Reagan had school pictures made today and she looked absolutely beautiful this morning.  It was raining, so we didn't get to take any pictures outside...but, I didn't let that stop me from taking a few inside!!

Can't wait for the actual photos to get here!

Fire Pit Fun

More tales from our never ending fun on Saturday!!!

We had so much fun around the fire pit at "friends house" that we decided to buy one for ourselves.  We broke it in Saturday evening by roasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate.

Cooper awaiting his turn to roast marshmallows
 Reagan loves hot chocolate
 YUM!
 all gone!
 a hula hoop contest ensued
 got hot chocolate?
 Cooper does!

Visit to the Farm - Part 3

After the corn maze, a picnic, and playing on the playground ~ it was time to see some of the farm animals.

petting the bunny
watching the chicken laying her eggs
 trying to catch a rooster
I can't believe she actually petted one!
He chased roosters all day long
if you look close, he has the rooster by the tail feathers.  He was trying to pull a feather out!  He said he wanted to take a feather home for his collection!  Poor rooster
 feeding the goats some leaves
Reagan fed the goats too ~ will wonders ever cease!!
 a 3-week old calf
 petting the baby cow
Greg told Cooper this is where his chocolate milk comes from!
he wanted to pet the pigs so badly
Reagan found some corn to feed the goats
we went on a nature trail hike
you can tell a good day by the nap on the way home!  (Reagan was asleep too, but I couldn't get a picture of her)
