A Nice Surprise

Ms. Deb came over to visit with Reagan and Cooper tonight. Reagan jumped, squealed and ran to hug me when I told her Ms. Deb was coming over. She brought a craft with her (she knows how to get to Reagan's heart) and just played with them. They had the best time! When it was time for her to leave, Cooper blew ME kisses and told ME bye-bye, he even turned away from me when I tried to take him from Ms. Deb ~ he wanted to go home with her!

Making necklaces
Picking out all the fish from the pileShooting a few hoops
drawing with side walk chalk
Drawing a fire engine
checking out Ms Deb's van
going for a stroll around the neighborhood (notice the broom in Cooper's hand!)
Thanks for coming to play Ms Deb ~ I hope you know how much we all love you!

Our Special Guest

Monday night, we had a special guest come to spend the night with us. Papaw, aka Bubba, made a special delivery at our house before going to do some business in another part of the state. Reagan and Cooper were so surprised and excited when he pulled into the driveway! I thought Cooper was going to jump through the window when he saw him! Thanks for staying with us ~ Reagan and Cooper want you to stay any time...but next time, bring Gigi!

The special delivery...the bed is back in the bonus room. Since our house is no longer on the market, there's no need for the toy room to look "extra large" and no need for our guests to sleep on an air mattress. So now you can come visit and sleep in comfort!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Greg! We had a fun filled Sunday at our house. We celebrated Father's Day by just being together ~ and giving daddy a chance to take an afternoon nap!

A picture before church
Cooper's gift of chocolate that he made at schoolThe note reads: Greatest Dad in the World
Loving, Kind, Gentle, Patient, Understanding,
Caring, Hard Worker, Exceptional, Super.
I think that describes Greg to a "T"
Reagan's card she made at school
Daddy and Reagan like to play basketball
A day wouldn't be complete without Cooper mowing the road!
Reagan is getting so good at riding her bicycle
The road has been mowed, now it must be swept ~ let's just hope he keeps this interest in mowing/sweeping for the next 18 years!
So sweet ~ she picked out the princess T-shirt to match her princess bicycle
Smiling with mommy
Greg wishing Papaw a Happy Father's Day
Cooper wanted to try out Reagan's bicycle

He rides her bike, she mows with his lawn mower!
Inside for a little cheering for daddy
Cooper was "fixing" Greg's feet with his tool set
Jumping for daddy!
Men...doing men things
Cooper had to try out the pom pons too (he also tried on the outfit, but I was forbidden from taking a picture!)

How We Spent Our Saturday

Warning ~ very long post...many, many pictures!

Reagan and Greg resumed their daddy/daughter date day and went to the IHOP this morning. (Reagan had 3 pancakes, Greg 2)
Cooper stayed home with mommy and just played & played

We opened the pool today ~ Reagan had to be the one to fill it up!
Making sure the water is going where it is supposed to go
1st splash of the season
Goggles on

Reagan "swimming"
This is Reagan's attempt at going under
Having a great time
Getting a little sun while keeping the feet in the water
Cooper woke up from his nap and got in the pool with us

Looks like it was more fun to pour water out of the pool
Reagan wanted her ring to use as a float
Now he's pouring water back into the pool
Can I just go back inside where it's cool?
Watching daddy mow the grass
Daddy, do you want to cool off over here in the pool?

The boy loves his daddy ~ he waved at Greg every time he passed by for over 30minutes
Swimming's over...snack time
Family portrait before heading out on our family date. Greg and I had originally planned to have a couples date, but babysitting didn't work out, so we went on a family date. And thanks to Uncle Astra, our meal was free ~ we even have enough for dinner and dessert tomorrow too!
Next, we went to Sam's and Reagan decided it was more fun to be parked in front of a TV than to shop
Cooper thought he'd join Reagan and watch the movie
Finally we came home and Reagan decided she wanted to be a cheerleader
Yippee!
Cooper thought the road needed tending to, so he got out his broom
Rah, rah!
That's my boy!
A cheerleader and the grounds crew
He's so proud of himself

What else needs to be cleaned?
