Deprived

Reagan was asked to write what she wanted to be when she grew up....

"I want to be a bus rider"
I just can't let my baby ride the school bus just yet~she's too little!

Tent Dining

Tonight, the kids asked if they could eat dinner in a fort. It's Thursday, so why not! Instead of making a fort, I set up Reagan's castle tent and let them eat in there!

Eating dinner

Peek a boo!
Reagan is learning about wood in school ~ today she brought home a piece of sandpaper to show me how it works
She said papaw would be proud!
Cooper loved the tent ~ he may need a "manly" one of his very own
Playing peek a boo
He did arts and crafts in the tent...
Reagan was pretending to water the flowers
It was so fun to watch them use their imaginations in the tent. They played really well together ~ we may have to do this more often!

After Bath

After bath time, the fun begins!!

Cooper's such a super-hero that he needs two capes (or towels, whatever!)
Every super hero plays with trains and reads dinosaur books...
Right?
While Cooper played, Reagan got to work making cards for Greg
She is a card making machine!

Cooper decided he would like to read a book before bed
Reagan just wanted to make more cards!

Tea for Two

After Reagan got home from school today, we had to do something special since she missed out on our trip to the Science Center. Currently, Reagan's favorite thing is to have a tea party ~ so we had a tea party in her honor.

Reagan just wanted to party, no more pictures!
slurp, slurp
Finally a smile (even though it's fake!)
Pouring some more

Cooper's Day

Reagan had to go to school today to make up for the snow, but Cooper's school was out and I had the day off work, so we decided to spend the morning at the Science Center.

We got there before it opened, so we waited in the car and listened to music!
looking at the catfish
getting a closer look
observing the sharks
He was yelling at them to wake up!

He had a fun time!
Watching the stingray
Showing me the turtles

Such a cute boy!
Look at that one!
Then, we moved on to electricity exhibits
but he liked the fish better

hmmm, I bet I could catch that shark if I tried really hard!
the stingray splashed Cooper

He kept flapping wanting Cooper to pet him more exhibits
We found a bear
And then we found the play area
Cooper put on a puppet show in the tree house
Roar!

We had a great time, but we sure did miss Reagan being there with us!

We had a little delay in getting our videos from the snow posted, but here they are. The kids had a great time sledding, but we are all ready for the snow to go away!

Cooper Goes to Gymnastics

Cooper had his 1st gymnastics class today. We wanted to wait until he was potty trained, then decided to wait until he was 3 years old, then decided to wait until after the holidays...and then the snow came and delayed his class for another week. But today was the day! He did really well ~ and he was the only boy in a class with 6 other girls ~ got to like those odds! I was worried if having him and Reagan in classes at the same time would be a good idea (it's great for me, but would they want to be in the same class?).

stretching with the class
they had to find balls of a certain color and put them in the bag

walking on his tiptoes
more stretching
pike stretches
listening to the teacher
cartwheel
forward roll
another cartwheel
Reagan did well in her class today too!
learning how to do a pullover on the bars

waiting for his turn
parallel bars
bear crawl

more forward rolls

waiting patiently
