What a Welcome!

Since I already had my camera at school to document Reagan's last day as a Ladybug, I decided to take the camera into Cooper's room.

Isn't this the best welcome in the world?

He got the biggest grin on his face when I walked in the door. Reason 385,429,846 why I love him so!

Last Day as a Ladybug

Friday was Reagan's last day in the Ladybug Class at school. They celebrated their growing up by having a picnic and Popsicle party! Reagan was so excited for her picnic ~ that's ALL she talked about all week (and a little bribery from mom: "if you don't nap, you can't have a picnic on Friday" - bad parenting, I know, but naps are crucial to our evenings going well!). Reagan asked me to pack her a great lunch ~ a peanut butter sandwich, chips, cheese, crackers, juice in a green cup with a purple straw and blue tape with her name on it (she's very specific with her instructions) and a banya (banana in Reaganese). I'm really going to miss Reagan being in this class, I love her teachers and they really love her. She has grown so much this year and I'm sure I'll be typing the same thing this time next year when she's leaving the Curious Cricket class!

New Toys

Reagan and Cooper both got new toys this week.

Reagan got a horn for her tricycle

After riding her tricycle for a while, she went back to the old standard ~ sidewalk chalk!

Tattoos

Reagan got some "George the Monkey" aka Curious George tattoos for her birthday. She wasn't too excited about getting another picture made, but she gave it her best half effort! By the end of the day, you could barely see her arms and legs for all the tattoos.

Pool's Open

The temperature reached 92 degrees on Saturday, so we decided it would be a great day to go for a swim.

Reagan helped fill up the pool. Hands on hips, smiles on lips!

She just can't wait to get in!

After getting wet, Reagan decided she would rather swim in her birthday suit than her bathing suit. She's probably a little too old for this, but we were in the backyard and no one else was outside. In another naked (which I couldn't post because...well you know why) video, she tells Cooper many times to take off his clothes and come swimming too!

She stayed in the pool, albeit naked, for over an hour
The water was a little too cold for Cooper, so he just watched and played from the sidelines!

Bug Killer

Reagan has discovered that she doesn't like bugs. While we were playing at the beach (sand & water table) she killed every bug that came near her!

6 Month Stats

Cooper turned 6 months old today and what better way to celebrate than by going to the doctor! He got 3 more shots today and Dr. Brooks said he looks perfect in every way. I couldn't agree more!

After all the shots and flirting with the nurses, a boy needs his rest

My Daddy Rocks

Reagan's shirt says it all ~ My Daddy Rocks. She insisted on wearing this shirt today (even though she's worn purple to school for the last 2 days. And those of you who know my clothes calendar...let's just say, I was a little stressed about purple for a 3rd day this week!) Anyway, who can tell a girl she can't wear a shirt about her daddy? Certainly not me!

She has the best imagination ~ she loves to take her dolls to the beach (the bathroom)

Now, we're at the bakery getting some candy and some beef (who knew you could get candy and beef at a bakery?)
Back to the beach for some swimming. Yes, I had to get in the floor and swim too! The things we do for love!
