Greg and Reagan had their weekly daddy/daughter date Saturday. They went to a local diner and Greg said Reagan was a big girl and ordered her own breakfast ~ 3 pancakes and orange juice!
All ready to go
While Reagan and daddy were on their date, Cooper and I spent our time reading some books Another new favorite thing...climbing onto and off of the couch all by himself
A new fascination with the refrigerator has begun. Cooper loves to rearrange the Coke bottles and whatever else he can get his hands on. But, at least it keeps him occupied and happy while I'm preparing dinner every night!
He's figured out how to get the locks off the cabinets
This looks good If only I could figure out how to get the lid off of this....
Cute Reagan story ~ we happened to be following her doctor home one evening (he lives in the neighborhood across the street) and here's the conversation that followed: Mom: Look Reagan, Dr. Brooks is in that truck Reagan: Where's he going? Mom: I guess he's going home. Reagan: Does he live beside us? Mom: No, but he doesn't live too far away. Reagan: Not two far away? Does he live one far away? Mom: Yes baby, he does live one far away!
Cooper and his friend Andrew are quickly becoming the tag team duo in their Sunday School class. Cooper is one day older than Andrew and they are like bulls in a china shop when they are together. They love to wrestle each other, make noise, but their favorite thing to do in class is eat!!!
Cooper just knocked Andrew down
Taking a break from wrestling Flirting with Kate (she's 4 months older than Cooper)
Cooper now has molar teeth on the left side of his mouth (if you're facing him). This tooth has been a little more of a struggle coming in ~ he didn't want to eat as much and was just a little grumpier than normal. Looks like the right side is ready to pop through any day now!
What else can you say? I think the sweet potatoes may have won!! Cooper likes to feed himself nowadays, and sweet potatoes aren't finger foods!!
What a mess! You probably can't tell by the picture, but there is enough green beans, squash, zucchini and sweet potatoes on the floor to feed a small army!
I've casually been looking for a Wii Fit for a couple of months now. I happened upon one Friday and thought it must be fate ~ I should buy it now. Normally, I'm not an impulse buyer, but I was on Friday! Since I don't have time to go to the gym, I'm bringing the gym into my house! Reagan has had a fun time with it too! Hopefully, this will get me in shape for our upcoming beach trip in May!!
School was closed again today ~ this time for snow. We had less than an inch of snow on the ground, but any excuse to close school and stay home and play, right? When Reagan saw the snow this morning, she asked, "is it Christmas again?". When I told her no, it's just snow, she asked, "is it a holiday?". Well, kind of ~ they are out of school!
Had to get a picture before the snow was disturbed too much
She couldn't wait to go outside Doesn't that look like fun?
When can we go outside?
Getting their 1st look at the snow
Cooper's not to sure about all this stuff. Try not to notice the pink gloves on him that he had to borrow from Reagan
Shoveling the snow off her slide
Can I help?
Are you freezing out here like I am?
Helping Reagan clean off the slide
Whoopsie!!
She had a great time playing in the snow
Her main goal was to fill up her bucket with snowMy snow bunny
Boots are in ~ feet are warm again!
30 minutes of dressing in layers of shirts, pants, socks, boots, hats and gloves...
