4 months...already?

Hard to believe, but our little man is already 4 months old. We went to the doctor today for a check up and he is the most perfect baby boy (Reagan is the most perfect girl, of course)! He now weighs 14lbs 15oz and is 26inches. He call roll over from his belly to his back, has started grabbing for his toys, and has the most precious smile that can melt anyone's heart!
Chewing on your thumb always makes the pain of shots go away!

This is a rare sight, Cooper with only 1 finger in his mouth, and it's his thumb

I've been told these are the same two fingers his dad sucked when he was a little boy

Still in a good mood after getting 3 shots today

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Here are a few photos from the weekend. It was rainy here, so we just stayed inside and played.

Cooper's finally able to sit up in his BeBe Pod chair! I thought he'd like it more than he did yesterday, but he probably was having memories of not being able to sit up and falling over. Hopefully, in time, he'll like to sit in it enough so he can be an active part of the family! The boy is all smiles - unless, of course he's having one of his daily meltdowns (which he must have learned from watching Reagan!)
Aren't they the sweetest brother and sister in the world?? Reagan was explaining what she wanted on her birthday cake and whom she wanted to invite to the party! She can't wait for her birthday...we have to sing "Happy Birthday to Reagan" almost everyday

Snoozin'

Cooper has been sleeping through the night for about 2 months. Until last night...he woke up at 4am and wanted to play. That is of course until we brought him downstairs to our room so he wouldn't wake up Reagan. As soon as he got in our bed, he was out!!

Hoppy Easter

Here are a few photos from Easter. I also had a sweet video of Reagan saying "Happy Easter Bunny", but due to an infection that left her in her birthday suit all day, the video can't be posted due to obscene material!

Cooper and Reagan ready to go to "Jesus' House"

Cooper trying to call the grandparents to let them know what the Easter Bunny left

Reagan got a Dora jump rope in her basket - she's been asking for a jump rope for a few months now

She had a great time hunting Easter eggs - we hid & hunted eggs about 6 times, then she decided she would hide them and let me find them. Apparently I didn't find them fast enough, so she brought me the eggs I hadn't found by the time she was ready to eat her snack!!

Easter from Mamaw & Papaw Carpenter

Reagan and Cooper received an Easter box from mamaw & papaw - I also taped this on video, but for some reason, can't get it to post. Until I can get it uploaded, here are a few pictures.

Reagan opens the box as Cooper watches intently!

Reagan got some bunny ears

Reagan also got an apron, oven mitt, and chef's hat, but all she wanted to wear was her "glove"

Cooper got a stuffed frog, which Reagan quickly decided that it was hers (so, once again had to go spend a little time in time out, which unfortunately is becoming a nightly ritual in our house)

Cooper and all his loot!

Reagan wore her new Easter shirt from Mamaw & Papaw to school on Thursday, she was so festive for her class Easter Party

Easter basket from Gigi and Papaw

Reagan received the 1st of her Easter baskets on Sunday. This one is from Gigi and Papaw Sandidge. A little early, I know, but we need to space out the gift giving!!

Random photos of the week

Finally, a spring-like day where Reagan could go outside and play and burn off some energy!!! Every morning, this is how we find Coooper in his bed. He has this big 'ol bed all to himself, but he prefers to sleep in the corner. We actually get up several times a night to check on him and pull him back down to the other end of the bed, but no matter how many times we get up, he's always in the corner. He's sleeping 11+ hours a night, so he must like it!!!

Reagan spent the evening with Ms Deb on Monday while Greg, Cooper and I went to our small group at church. When we picked her up, she had "found" these flowers for us. Ms Deb was kind enough to put them in a vase and let us bring them home to enjoy at the table!

Cooper the Pterodactyl

Cooper is becoming quite the little conversationalist. He's found his voice and he loves to hear it. We joke that he sounds like a pterodactyl squealing!!

Kickin' It

Cooper has learned how to kick his bouncey seat to make the music play. He just lit up when he realized what he had done. He has the sweetest smile and I could watch him smile all day!!

Disney Playhouse Live

I was fortunate enough to take Reagan to see Disney Playhouse Live on Saturday, March 1st in Greensboro, NC. She had a great time at her 1st "concert"

The Little Einsteins

Donald Duck, Goofey, Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse

Handy Manny and his Tools

The Super Sleuths - Pooh, Darby and Tigger
The Entire Cast

The Jackhammer

Cooper loves to be shaken like a jack hammer - he smiles and laughs everytime we do it. This can keep him entertained forever!! He usually gets the hiccups and if he's just eaten....

Bedtime Prayer

This is just so sweet - We always say a prayer every night before bedtime and tonight, Reagan wanted to teach it to Cooper. I asked what she learned at church today and she said that she learned about snakes (ok, so I don't know exactly what the lesson was, but they did make snakes out of Play-Doh - so she did get something out of the lesson). Later I asked her who God loved and she said Cooper. I asked her if God loved everybody and she said, "No, just Cooper".
